The older soundstream audio stuff was some of the best, (the old reference amps). I ran those amps for a long time, and they were clearer and more powerful than anything available now. soundstream reference line is supposed to be pretty good, not as good as the ref line back in the day but still supposed to be nothing to overlook. i haven't heard much about the rest of their line though... they aren't built to the same stanadard so quality may be an issue now adays.
