This is my first post here, but I have been struggling with the Supreme FX II trying to get it to work properly. I have it hooked up to my receiver using an optical cable and I can get it to output Dolby Digital 5.1 when watching a movie in Media Center on Vista 64 Ultimate; however, all the other sounds (Games, Music) are all 2 channel PCM encoded crap.

Jan 26, 2009. #1. Hi. I have a SupremeFX II HD Audio onboard sound set up on my Rampage Formula motherboard. I have connected the PC via optical SPDIF to my Sony HTSF 1300 receiver but am going spare!!! When playing DVDs from disc or the HDD i get 5.1 output when using PowerDVD or VLC media player (after much tweaking).
