The Tascam US-122 is great for beginners, mobile recording systems and hobbyist musicians, etc. I still believe that it is a great interface to begin with. It's easy to use and affordable. Those drivers work for the US-122L unit since they are really the same thing. Tascam's own words about this is "The US-122MKII is a cosmetic upgrade from the US-122L, as far as functionality they do the same thing." I tried to update the firmware of the US-122L with the US-122MKII firmware in Windows and Mac, but that did not work.
