I loved The Audio Critic, even if I didn't agree with him on everything. They also told you more about a given component as they did a lot of technical analysis as part of their reviews (Taking off the covers told you a lot about how well made it is, the quality of build, quality of engineering inside if you know electronics and know speaker drivers).
