Big Thiel Audio fan here. If you can audition the CS 2.2 prior to purchase-go for it! If you enjoy the presentation and sound of the 2.2, seek out a pair of CS 2.4 loudspeakers. The 2.4 will give a crisper, fuller sound while still punchy in the Bass. Happy Listening!

the Thiel CS 2.2 to me. The speakers were nearly ten years old (so I am told). What would I get from a ten year old pair of speakers I thought. Well after listening to some other speakers like the B&W 802 and the Thiel CS 7.2, I was convinced that I have a bargain pair of speakers to start with.
