i am thinking about getting myself a TL audio C1, judging by the reviews it does both these things rather well. so it the TL Audio C1, Any good? I need somthing which is an all rounder, good for drums, bass/real bass guit, , vocals, guitars , synths, mix bus compression etc. But also something that gives me a nice warm pre amp.

The C1 is the top of the range compressor from TL audio, and is referenced also differently is the but under the HHB name also. The VP1 preamp has been reviewed if I remember well in the British magazine called Sound on Sound. You can find the review archived online.
