I have the same issue here. It only works fine as a VST in garage band. Does not work in Toontrack solo. My setup Alesis drum module –Midi–> AxeFX2 sound interface -usb-> Mac. Hi – that is not strictly true as of Toontrak solo 1.1.0, but an ASIO is certainly highly recommended. You may however need to select the correct driver from the Audio Device menu.
