A little while back I tried streaming an MKV file to my 360 with Tversity and it had no sound. I looked up a few guides on the net and all pretty much said the same thing so I followed a guide and now nothing works, the 360 will just show a black screen and freeze, it's not buffering or anything.

either and yes but just be careful with the audio options in MKV2VOB. it has some for DTS patching and PCM that won't work on anything other than the PS3. Set audio options in MKV2VOB to use AC3 (Dolby digital 5.1) by ticking Always Transcode DTS

I have had absolutely no luck at all getting mkv's to work on the 360 via Tversity. I have tried loads of different settings in the options, different codec packs etc, all sorts. not gotten anywhere. Good luck!
