No Sound in Ubuntu 10.04. I have an alienware laptop and I've decided to use Ubuntu on it. When I installed Lucid Lynx the sound does not work. Yet when I wiped the drive and installed Jaunty Jackalope the sound DOES work. No hardware has been changed and the only software change was using an earlier version of Ubuntu.
