I found myself having a slightly different problem with ZSNES under Ubuntu 8.04: sound is present but glitches, it is scratchy. After reading a few posts on this forum and elsewhere, I found that setting ZSNES to FULL screen instead of in WINDOWED mode fixes the problem for me. Quite simple, but effective, I hope this can help someone.

Hi Everybody. Just downloaded tuxguitar through ubuntu 8.04 synaptic Package Manager. I cannot get any sound out of my songs and I tried searching the repositories for the plugins listed above to no avail.
