The T60 has, as opposed to earlier Thinkpad models, no disk white-list in the BIOS. You can use any normal 2.5inch sata SSD and the BIOS will accept it. Intel Core 2 Duo T7600 (64bit cpu). This is the fastest CPU you can put into a T60. It has a 4096K L2 cache (double the size of the the standard T2400 cpu).

I've decided to use Ubuntu as my distro of choice. This is my first time with both the T60p and Ubuntu.
