I use belden 1694a rg6 coax with canare rca's for digital audio and subwoofer. I like it, but am starting to experiment with some belden 89259 for coax and subwoofer. I probably spend too much time at audioasylum. It just seems like rg6 with 18awg center conductor may have too much skin effect.

I recommend using the LV-77S, as it is much more flexible than the L-5CFB. The difference is that the 77 has a stranded center conductor and the 5CFB has a solid. Both are excellent cables. As for RG6/59 versus shielded twisted pair for audio: RG6 has much better noise rejection over long runs, which should not matter much in a home audio setup.

The dielectric for RG-6 is thicker resulting in a physically larger cable, but meaning the leakage for a given type of dielectric is lower.
