The Valve Audio Black Widow (8.8/10), current model is a killer preamplifier! It surprised me when I first listened to the new one, man what an upgrade. This preamp seems to mix solid state and valve amplification to perfection. It raises the trebles to beautiful levels. Its so listenable, so easy on the ear. I couldn’t detect valve roll off here.
