The Doctor of Audiology (AuD) program requires a minimum of 89 credit hours of didactic and clinical courses OR 92 credit hours if Research Project Option 2 is selected. In addition, 9 credit hours of prerequisite coursework in American sign language (3 credit hours), normal development of speech and language (3 credit hours), and aural rehabilitation (3 credit hours) are required.

The Audiology program at WSU has also been selected to participate in the Audio-CARL Early Access Program with AHead Simulations. An additional adult CARL has been added to the simulation abilities at WSU, and this Audio-CARL will have the ability to train audiology students to perform pure-tone audiometric threshold evaluations (hearing tests).
