I successfully dualbooted Windows xp and Windows 10. But my Audio does not work on xp. I have tried a bunch of drivers. But it doesnt work. On windows 10 device manager it shows High Defenition Audio Device. And in windows xp it shows no audio device found. On the laptop it shows Dolby Advanced Audio Virtual Surrond Sound. Please help

The audio slider is grayed out. I assume that "No Audio Device" is the important bit. The most obvious explanation is that no audio device has been enabled in the VM recipe. @caveman: Time to see that VM log file. With the VM fully shut down, right click it in GUI. Select "Show Log" and save "VBox.log" (ONLY) to a zip file. Attach the zip here.

I received a new Dell XPS 13 2-1, 9310, i7, 11thGen, Windows 10, on 12/16/20. It had the described audio jack problem as shipped, i.e. just static noise when using a headset or buds in the jack. Trying to update audio driver from the system's Device Manager did not work - said correct driver installed and working properly (wrong).
