Winamp does not do anything with the matrix. ffdshow takes the input that it gets from the Winamp plugin, decodes it, applies the mixing matrix (and possibly other filters), and then outputs the decoded audio back to the Winamp plugin. What Winamp does with that audio after that is totally unrelated to ffdshow. _____
