Both picture and sound work fine as long as the HDTV is on and set to the proper HDMI port before the OS comes on. What doesn't work: If I start the PC before the TV is on then the Digital Audio (HDMI) device reports "Not plugged in". So far the only way to reset it is to press Windows+P and cycle between computer only and extended mode.
