Delete the "Microsoft" which was apparently installed when you installed Windows. Go to the Device Manager and uninstall the Microsoft, just leaving you the Dell. Uninstall the Microsoft and then restart the PC and see if it gets corrected. Make sure your IDT sound card "Speakers" are set as the Default Playback device in the Sound Panel.
