AVI files are supposed to be compatible with MM but when I import an avi file (from my Vado HD pocket camcorder) MM can only play the audio, there is no video. WMP can play both audio and video fine, it’s just MM that’s having a problem. I’ve downloaded lots of codecs including the windows essential service pack which includes ffdshow.
