IMO, both sound better than the Neumann U87AI which IMO is not only bright but *edgy* as well. Although both the Wunder CM67 and TLM-67 are bright, neither is edgy. Both are relatively smooth with the Wunder perhaps a touch smoother than the TLM-67. In a pinch, I would probably prefer the Wunder CM-67, over the Neumann TLM-67, by a hair.

I have since got a wunder cm67 with the Phillips tube. This is as close to the 67 as I have got. It is still brighter than the 67 and doesn't have the same 3d depth. It's a great mic but to be honest if you want a u67 then you have to buy one. I had a 67 on hire for the last 3 weeks and the wunder didn't get a run.
