X-Fi Xtreme Gamer vs. Xtreme Audio PCI-E | OCAU Forums
https://forums.overclockers.com.au/threads/x-fi-xtreme-gamer-vs-xtreme-audio-pci-e.683049/
So what it all boils down to is this: I've seen a PCI-E X-Fi called the Extreme Audio, and it's only $85 at Umart, compared to the $159 of the Xtreme Gamer or the $250ish of the Azuentech Prelude at other places. From what I can see it has Crystaliser and CMSS-3D but has something called 'EAX Advanced HD' instead of EAX 5.0.
X-FI XtremeMusic vs XtremeGamer, the difference ...
https://www.overclock.net/threads/x-fi-xtrememusic-vs-xtremegamer-the-difference.204123/
the xtremegamer has more xRAM than the xtrememusic. The memory is only used if games are encoded to use it though so for practical purposes it isn't very useful, considering the xtrememusic still has some onboard memory. The gamer is a lower profile card and has non-standard op-amps so it cannot be modded.
X-Fi Xtreme Gamer vs X-Fi Titanium PCIe - PC audio

I noticed a quite noticable boost from running my X-Fi Xtreme Gamer on my Logitech X-530 speakers over the Realtek HD onboard sound. Music and games sounds so much better. each to ther own I guess. Every logitech set I have ever heard has way to much bass, and has a badly defined soundstage.

Soundblaster X-Fi or onboard audio? | Tom's Guide Forum

New to Tom's Hardware, hope you can help with this question on onboard audio vs. SoundBlaster X-Fi Extreme Music. I just purchased a Core i7 920 and an Asus P6T (no deluxe, no V2, just the plain P6T). I am running Vista 64-bit Home Premium with 6gb GCZ DDR3 triple-channel RAM. I believe the mobo comes with the Realtek ALC1200 audio chip.

296 posts. Help choosing between Xonar DS vs X-Fi XtremeGamer. I'm having a hard time choosing between the Asus Xonar D1 and Creative X-Fi xTremeGamer soundcard. I currently have Realtek's HD ALC892 on my motherboard and have Logitech Z4 2.1 speakers (I don't ever plan on going 5.1 maybe 4.1 with my monitors built in speakers for extra sound).
