I have one problem so far (which isn't solved on raspbmc and openelec too) and thats the xbmc ac3 sound over the analog output. It has got way to low volume and I can't raise it (and btw the audio on xvids (mp3) could use some more headroom too).

MP3’s and MP4’s still worked, but when I tried to play any DVD iso with AC3, I could not hear sound. Switching the output device to SPDIF on both audio output and passthrough and configuring the receiver to take video from HDMI and audio from SPDIF did work, and I could hear the 5.1 channel audio without a problem.

Hi, I've a problem with audio in XBMC for minix (version 16.3). I get only 2ch audio even I playback a 5.1 file (both AC3 and DTS tracks). The minix is connected directly through HDMI to a surround system that notifies me 2 channels audio. The 5.1 audio works properly with MX player but I' ve many directories and I prefer Kodi navigation system.
