In a misguided attempt to get XBMC to run (it crashes immediately after starting,) I uninstalled pulseaudio. Sadly this failed to cure the XBMC problem but when I uninstalled pulseaudio a list of dependencies were uninstalled as well. In my ignorance I failed to record this list.
