When tried to open with Kodi with pass-through enabled sound is broken makes sizzle. With pass-through disabled low noise and out of sync. Not stable sound for watching a movie. I tried to play with the VLC(downloaded AppStore) app on ATV4. Works with no problem. Audio can go passthrough. And very clear good audio.

Plex has enabled Passthough audio since Microsoft takes passthrough audio option in the parameters of xbox (June 2021 I think). That's zero help to us, Plex is a closed sourced app so there's no way for us to know how they did it. Also as a commerical app they likely have access to MS resources that we don't.
