When playing a video from the fullscreen toolbar menu (the one at the top which shows fast fwd, next/previous, pause/play etc.), when you select "Audio and subtitle settings", XBMC has what appears to be a volume offset, starting at 0dB, going upto -60dB. Even when XBMC is using passthrough audio, this offset still changes the sound output level.

Well, I did figure out that audio/passthrough works through optical out, so I guess I can use that for now :). Weird that HDMI would have problems where optical would be fine. Thanks again for the image- I’m quite happy with my setup now, but if anyone can figure out why this happens, I’d be glad to switch to a HDMI-only setup.
