The "original stream language" is not currently obliged for technical development reasons. It generally selects your preferred language, fallback to english, and if neither are available it just doesn't pre-select a specific audio track and Kodi does its thing, which probably yes, selects the first language available.

Preferred audio language: Media default; Preferred subtitle language: Media language; I just changed both of them to en-US, and it fixed the subtitles but not the series/episode titles. MPD alteration was already enabled. I tried disabling it, but that didn't affect anything that I saw.
