I'm looking at the $200 Revo as my first XBMC box. However, my Yamaha receiver does not have any HDMI ports. This leaves me with the problem of getting digital audio output to my receiver since the Revo Netops only have HDMI output and no optical audio out. However, my Samsung DLP TV does have HDMI inputs and an Optical audio output.

but you can stick the LIVE linux install on a USB flash key, set the Revo to boot from USB and use the XBMC media player, then reboot to Windows on the internal HDD and run your web browser. if I get the time this weekend I'll try throwing XP on my Revo and see if I can get optical audio output.
