Pull the RCA end apart so it can plug in with the HDMI cable plugged in. Then go into your Xbox Settings - Console settings - Audio Digital... select the first/top option. The bottom 2 options send audio into the HDMI cable and the causes a conflict/crash/reboot. Select the top option and that activates the use of the red/white RCA cable for use.
