TV to home theatre via HDMI 1.4b (for 3D). EDIT: oh and all of my devices (h/t, xbox 360, and TV) have all been updated to the latest firmware versions.

Channels with broadcast Dolby Digital audio have audio hiccups every 5-10 or so seconds. Setting the Xbox 360 main audio setting to PCM audio only seems to resolve this, but removes 5.1 audio for games, movies & TV. 2. HD Channels pixelate - and sort of slow down every 10 seconds or so - the slowdown/pause also effects SD channels.

but I think its your AV unit processing the dolby signal that is causing the delay If that was the case then wouldn't it do it every time? Playing games or HD-DVD's the sound through the optical is perfect. It is only when the 360 upscales SD dvds that there is a delay and only through the optical. Through the RCA it is perfect.
