This time i took the original avi file put it in xilisoft but this time i used 23.976 for the frame rate but theres no option for pulldown. and used mpeg layer-2 for the audio. once again the file came out good. but unfortinatly i still need the vob files to burn a dvd so i put that result into canopus converted it again with 3:2 pulldown ...

I am experiencing the same issue. I only have dvd's I've converted using Xilisoft. I must admit i am a huge novice and have no idea if my conversation settings are wrong (free download off the net). The video begins synced, but about 25 minutes in it falls out of sync. I bought this strictly for the video and it makes it very difficult to enjoy.

I have a downloaded Avi file where things are in sync. After conversion with DVD Flick 1.3.0.6 the audio is in sync near the beginning and gradually goes out of sync getting further and further apart. I guessed it may have been the conversion of the MP3 (Constant Bit Rate) audio to AC3 (192k) that seems to have caused the sync issue.
