Connect both devices to your computer via usb and choose the Audio 8 DJ as your soundcard in Traktor 3. Your M-Audio Xponent will not work in TS as a full mixer because TS doesn't have a virtual crossfader that should be controlled via midi. Only T3 offers this function.

If you're not gonna use an external mixer, but rely on Traktor's internal mixing, just leave the "Output" section of Traktor preferences to "Internal" mixing mode. Then assign your deck and monitor outputs. Under the "Audio Setup" tab always be sure you have your Audio 8-DJ selected as the audio device.

To enable LED output, hold cuepoint 2 and the padlock button on the left hand deck while the unit is turning on (Track Progress LEDs lighting up).
