Picture #3 shows a new FT-857D. You can see the trace that burnt. Again, I can't follow the trace because it's internal to the PCB. The schematic doesn't help because it just shows it going to ground. And of course, I don't have drawings of the PCB layers or Gerber files. So, what should I do from a "best practices" standpoint?
