I have AMC at 100 (i.e. off) mic at 80 and compression at 80 (yielding about 10 to 15 dB of compression). Using Yaesu M – 100 mic with both elements in circuit. I have EQ set with reduced bass and a little more treble. I get unsolicited good audio reports and I am driving a linear to 400 Watts with 20 Watts drive.

I buzzed through from the output of that box to the 6-pin Din plug which goes into the DATA socket on the radio, and I can confirm it is correctly wired (as far as I can tell), and there is audio tune tone present on the GND and DATA IN pins as shown on page 76 of the Yaesu manual. confirmed with oscilloscope.

Random TX inhibit, no transmit TX flashing. Ron Bloss <ron@...>. I've had my DX-10 for two days now. The rig, while just setting receiving, and I try to transmit for a QSO, will suddenly refuse to transmit with the TX flashing. I've found some reference to this in other Yaesu radios but everything I've seen mentions it is a power on issue.
