The BX5a is fine. To me, the HS50M is better because it has smoother treble and better mid, its bass is lacking in body and extension compared to the BX5a but it is a little more refined here for these reasons. The BX5a weakest point is its mid IMO, kinda hollow compared to the rest of the spectrum.
