The Yaqin is biased for class AB1 operation. Now, let’s get on to some musical examples. As noted, the MC13S has no onboard phono stage. AudioPhile I never doubted that the Yaqin 100B would prove its wonderful sound after the original tubes were replaced with Gold Lions and RCA NOS tubes. I've open up the Yaqin VK 2100 but, not this amp. I frequent high end audio shop and have heard some decent tube amps. This is definitely a good amps and I can recommended it without reservations. A lot of the amps from China are based on popular designs amps well received in the USA.

Yaqin MC-100B Nice Amp! I've been playing with this amp for the past week, and I'm very impressed. I bought it from Song in Canada, an outstanding person to deal with. The amp is using the KT88-98 power tubes in a dual mono design setup. The amp does everything well, and sounds very good through the Quad 21L's.

Through the Yaqin, I heard a very nice detailed sound. The crowd sounded live and energetic as they listened to Dylan play It's All Over Now, Baby Blue. Through the Yaqin, the music had a nice bouncy rhythm, a surprisingly extended top-end (considering the Shuguang 12AX7Bs), deep bass, and a engaging character that made the record a joy to hear. I then went and cooked some dinner, leaving the Shuguang on to warm up further. After eating, my fellow audiophile friend came over.
