Zaph ZA14 with XT25 - Ampslab

    https://www.ampslab.com/swift.htm
Vifa XT25SC90 + Zaph Audio ZA14W08 The Swift offers exceptional performance at a very reasonable cost. At heart are two outstanding drivers, the ZA14W08 from Zaph Audio and the dimunitive XT25SC90 by Vifa. Judiciously blended by a high order, asymmetric crossover, the Swift sounds so natural it disappears in a room.

The specs from the Vifa sheet give a standard sealed Vab as -2.66 liters. The specs seem to screw up the box model because the model says sealed f3 is 80Hz, yet the curve planly shows f3 ~ 105. Odd response from a reputable box modeling program. I would definitely want to measure. Originally posted by mtmpenn View Post.

Zaph audio (John Krutke) has measured them and they show very good distortion and F/R characteristics. I am presently designing a WMTMW with the RS180-4 (two in series) with Vifa MG10MD09 mids and a Vifa D26NC55 tweet in the middle. The Seas 27TDFC tweeter is a favorite among DIYers for it's low distortion, smooth response and low resonance ...
