Very nice, but the system did require tweaking in the bass alignment and XO (less BSC), since the woofer specs have changed somewhat since the original design was put out. Build your own cabinet (I'm sure you will Nik ;) ) as the Mad cabinet is a bit wimpy.

I was put on to Zaph Audio's 'ZRT' Revelator Towers by Madisound's kit for those speakers. Zaph's very comprehensive web pages for these speakers satisfied me they just might be up to my DIY goal of replacing my Maggies. The ZRT designs were for both 2-way and 2.5 way speakers. Zaph Audio designed the ZRT's for Madison's MD38T tower speaker enclosure, 1.33 cu.ft. However this enclosure is no longer available. Since I don't have access to a table saw, I looked for a close pre-fab alternative. This turned out to be Parts Express' Denovo Audio Knock-Down MDF 1.16 cu. ft. Tower Cabinet.

Zaph|Audio - ZRT - Revelator Tower. Dear old Zaph aka John Krutke is in the American school of thought that all can be fixed by a low crossover. Maybe 1.7kHz. To me this is just a way to design what Lynn Olson calls a "LGWAG" or "Little Girl with a Guitar" speaker. Useless for complex Classical Music. Fatigueing.
