Mine are in a smaller central room that that opens up to a couple of larger room on the sides. I'm really happy with them and would like more of the same. I'm running them with a Audio Research VSi60 integrated amplifier and play CD's and LP's. I'm wondering if I should upgrade the 2 way ZRT to the ZRT 2.5 which has three drivers.

I was put on to Zaph Audio's 'ZRT' Revelator Towers by Madisound's kit for those speakers. Zaph's very comprehensive web pages for these speakers satisfied me they just might be up to my DIY goal of replacing my Maggies. The ZRT designs were for both 2-way and 2.5 way speakers. Very nice, but the system did require tweaking in the bass alignment and XO (less BSC), since the woofer specs have changed somewhat since the original design was put out. Build your own cabinet (I'm sure you will Nik ;) ) as the Mad cabinet is a bit wimpy.
