As a long time ZED dealer, the products are not in question. There was a slight hiccup with the first generation Leviathans and a turn on pop. None of the MIKRO's have come back. I have a wide range of amps to choose from, and I use a ZED RA, ZED Draconia, and ZED Minotaur daily. No issues for 2+ years since they have been installed.

The die cost is about $2,000. So this must be amortized over the 300 pcs run. The construction of the MIKRO series was not the best and so this would be improved drastically. I would upgrade to 100w x 4 at 4 ohm and add in some nicer crossover features. Estimated cost from Zed would be about $225.00 per amplifier.

I too wanted to mount a tiny amp behind the dash, but I'm not a wizard. I did what most end up doing and mounting it under the passenger seat on a home made amp rack.
