0 Funny story. Due to a recommendation a few months ago I tried running my Zero Audiocraft amp with a higher voltage DC power supply with the hope of improving sound quality. So I went ahead and bought another battery snap and soldered a wallwart jack to it.

Zero Audiocraft (~$62.50) The PA2V2 seems good as it uses AA batteries and has a frequency range of 5Hz to 40KHz. I think I would prefer one that has a DC connection and/or uses AA batteries. 9V batteries seem a bit of pain to use as they take ages to charge. But which of the above would you suggest I invest in?

Just connect 2 9v batteries to the snap connector of the amp. You will need to bend it a little to get the postive of one battery and the negative of the other battery connected to the snap connector.
