6moons audio reviews: Zu Audio Definition 2
https://www.6moons.com/audioreviews/zu15/definition2.html
In that time I have owned the Druids, Definition 1.5s, Definition Pros and now the Definition 2s. My acquisition of the Definition 2 pair with its November 21, 2007 delivery makes this a birthday of sorts. I don't pretend this is a neutral review. The Zu sound captivated me from first listen and continues to bend my ear. A guilty admission?

Zu Omen Def Mk.2 - Updated Review I posted 3 weeks or so ago about the $3600 gamble of buying a pair of Zu Omen Def Mk.2's. Not a complete gamble of course, since there is a 60 day return policy, but since you cant get a refund on lost time trying something, I suppose I can count that as the real gamble if I didn't like the speakers - thing is ...

The Definition Mk2 improves upon that by further integrating—layering—the vocals and music. Everything appears in clearer focus while being more authoritative (real?). If riding an F430 at breakneck pace through your favorite Malibu canyon road is the idea of an ultimate car control, then listening to Meeting by the River , a Kavi Alexander/Water Lily Acoustics recording must be …

inevitably, to a close encounter with the Definition Mk II -- a speaker that crammed not just an extra 10" unit onto its front baffle, but four 10" bass units onto its backside and a 120-watt amplifier into the bottom of the cabinet to drive them. If the Druid was fun, then the Definition wasn’t just Fun (with a capital "F") but

Definition Mk II (the model that stuck with me since that last review), upped the ante. A few dials here, tweaks there, allowed for even better bass and overall tone separation. A newly minted cabinet, with higher structural quantities, proved fidelity inducing long days (and nights) of audiophilia in casa Kaey. Added, was the bonus that in

Zu Audio Omen Dirty Weekend speakers Review - Dagogo

Nicely written. I demoed many models from Zu and finally bought a pair of Omen Def Mk1B – the highest I could afford. Could have chosen another good brand at that price, but I simply love the Zu sound paired with low powered tubes (so far I had a Cayin MT45 Mk2, a Line Magnetic 219ia and a Kingko Audio feedind my speakers).
