The best way out of the problem is a factory data reset. Start by turning the device off. Then press the right bottom corner of the screen and keep it pressed. With the corner still pressed, turn the device on. When a prompt asks if all user data may be erased, tap YES. The device should now reset and when it’s done it should start normally.

Discussion Starter · #1 · 8 mo ago I've had a Zumo 660 for years and moved it to for different bikes now. I've always used it with my Bluetooth headset because I didn't have a stereo on the bike. I got a 3.5mm adapter cable for my Voyager, mounted the cradle to the bars, routed and connected the cables, switch the radio to Aux, and... Nothing.

Seems to me that the Audio system can only see and broadcast input from one device at a time, so to get audio from both your iPod and Zumo might be tough. As an alternate, you could add your audio MP3s to the Zumo and play them.

The Zumo 660 has it's battery cover panel on the left hand side (from the rear) with the panel's slide key underneath on the lower edge of the unit. Opened the battery compartment, removed the battery that allowed access to the micro SD card. Removed the card and replaced the battery then replace the battery compartment's panel.

I also fabricated a cable to connect the Zumo 660 audio out and mic in to my Baehr intercom. So far, everything works, but initial testing shows that both audio connections, the AUX input to the stereo and the Zumo output to the intercom, will need "boosting".

My second, and more important problem is that when paired with my Bose QC 30 noise canceling ear buds, once the wind noise goes up I get static over the voice prompts to the point that they're unrecognizable. Music is still fine, it's just the navigation prompts. My problem is I don't have another XT to compare with to see if mine is "broken".
